TAVISTOCK RFC REGISTRATION DAY FOR THE MINIS AND JUNIORS
Welcome back for another season of rugby at Tavistock Rugby Club. Thank you for supporting your child in helping him play rugby and thank you for coming back to TRFC. Unfortunately we need to go through the annual routine of paperwork and taking your lovely money. To that end we are pleased to advise you that registration day for the Minis and Juniors is being carried out at the clubhouse at TRFC on Sunday the 4th September between 1000hrs and 1200hrs. Please note the following:-

REGISTRATION ·
Time and date- Sunday the 4th September is the main registration day. If you miss it do not panic as the registration officer will also be in the clubhouse on the 11th (the next Sunday) between 1000hrs and 1200hrs. If you manage to miss this date as well do not panic just hand in the appropriate registration forms and subscriptions to the team coach or team admin assistant and he will hand it on.

TRFC Registration form- All players must fill in a 2011-2012 TRFC registration form this is to ensure that we have current contact information and appropriate current medical information on the player. Please note that this information is treated with confidence and is only distributed to those who need it (primarily the coaches). A copy of this registration form is attached below- if you can print it out and infill it before you come to registration then this would speed up the process (NB black and white copies are absolutely acceptable). If you can't print one off do not worry as blanks will be available at the clubhouse during the registration periods, if you can't make the registration periods please see your coach. We would be very grateful if you can tick the boxes at the base which will allow us to receive some ‘gift aid’ money back from the lovely taxman.

RFU registration forms- A copy of this form is attached below. If your child was playing last year for TRFC then you do not need to fill in this form as he will almost certainly be registered with the RFU. If your child is a new player to TRFC you will need to fill a copy of this form in. If your child is transferring from another club then we need to have this form filled in. If you cannot print this form off do not panic as there will be blanks available at the clubhouse during registration hours. If we do need you to fill this form in (which is needed for certain games) and it has not been done do not worry we will contact you individually.


The 2011- 2012 Subscriptions
are as follows.
Boys for the full season (U7s) £30 (No sibling rate)
Boys for the full season (U8 to u16) £60 (Sibling rate = £30)
Girls for full season (U12s) £30 (No sibling rate)
Girls for full season (U15 and U18) £60 (Sibling rate= £30)
Half season rate (all players) £30 NB to gain a sibling rate the elder sibling has to be paying the full rate.

Cash or cheques are acceptable although cheques are preferred. If you have forgotten your cheque book (there's always a few) please still submit the registration forms and then hand the cheque over later to your coach; although please note that this can cause administrative problems. Please note that all payments must be submitted within 56 days of registration or your child will be asked to leave the club.

Procedure on the day- On the registration days training (or games) will be occurring (please liaise directly with the appropriate coach as to where this will be for your team). Can parents then come to the club house where we can do the paperwork. There will be a number of desks open - please form a queue behind one of these desks. Once at the desk please hand over your registration forms and the appropriate subscription, there will be a brief moment of ticking player names off against a list (or adding new players on to a list) and then you are free from paperwork for another year. Spare forms will be available near the entrance to the clubhouse if you need them. · Prospective new players- Please just turn up and grab someone on one of the registration desks

Official opening of new pitch
Dear Vice President/Sponsor,
On Saturday 10th September we will be celebrating the official opening of our new pitch in front of the clubhouse. On that occasion the 1st XV will be playing the “Pirates” k.o. @ 3:00 p.m. and the 2ndXV and Colts will be home to OPMs and Ivybridge respectively.

The Chairman and Committee have asked me to extend an invitation to you and to join us for lunch on that day.

The luncheon will be an all pay event and you are welcome to bring guests. There will be a charge of £12 per head to cover the meal and provide a donation to club funds. Lunch will be 12:30 for 1:00 p.m. and during the pre-match gathering we hope to show a video of the England v Argentina World Cup game which will have been played that morning. There is a limit for numbers for this event so an early indication of numbers would be appreciated, and no later than 3rd September 2011.
