Tavistock Rugby Club to host  "The Great British Bike Ride" 
The Great British Bike Ride will this year be staged from Lands End to Twickenham Stadium in early September. The four day ride is designed for all cycling enthusiasts, sportsmen and sports women who want to take on a real challenge and at the same time raise some much appreciated funds for highly deserving charities, including ‘Help for Heroes’.

Chairman of Tavistock Rugby Club (wife and children), club Secretary,  a first team coach and club Membership Secretary all visit Swaziland, a Kingdom in Southern Africa suffering from an AIDS epidemic.......
We all want to say an big ‘thank you’ to the rugby fraternity who turned out in force and gave us so much support – from small bags left anonymously with a pair of boots to the entire Bere Alston RFC kit, from Paignton and Sidmouth to both Ivybridge and Tavistock Community Schools down to Saltash in Cornwall.
