More Social Events

TRFC has teamed up this season with Dukes Catering to provide a new joint venture for parties, social events and business events such as training days and/or market promotions using the TRFC club room. Jointly we have a good location, good facilities, good food, good bar and good staff.

Tavistock Rugby Club is a perfect venue with a large car park for approximately 200 cars, capacity for 400 people, capacity for 200 seated (e.g. for a meal or concert), a well stocked bar with 'club' prices, access for the disabled and no booking fee for the use of the club (all we ask is that one member of the party enrolls as a Vice President of the club at a cost of £60.00). The TRFC social committee can even help organize bands and discos for any clients if asked.

‘Dukes at Tavistock Rugby Club’ can provide all types of good food including formal lunches, 3 course meals, buffets or just casual snacks which are prepared and served by professional, friendly staff. The team can cater for weddings, christenings, funerals, parties and social or business events. They are currently providing all players’ meals after home games and regularly providing pre-match 3-course meals on Hospitality days at the club.

With your help we can increase the use the club room. All we ask is that you make the link between the event and the TRFC/Dukes alliance and recommend TRFC for a venue. The committee will take it forward from there.
