U8's Managers Statement

Need to get you children outside on a Sunday morning to enjoy the fresh air?

Your getting tired of shouting at them to stop destroying the house?

Why not try tag rugby?

Girls and boys are welcome to come up to the rugby club (10am on a Sunday morning) and join in with the Tavistock tag rugby teams. The U8s group represents the school year group 3 and is a non contact sport at this level. The children thoroughly enjoy running around getting some exercise and we have a number of friendly matches throughout the year against local teams in the area. It all ends with a U7s and U8s tag rugby festival in April at Ivybridge where all the local teams are invited for a number of games in a group format. The emphasis is to get everyone to join in and have go, making sure they enjoy themselves.

U7's Managers Statement

Bouncing the children off the walls on a Sunday morning? Finding it difficult to prise the Playstation from their hands? or do you think you may have a budding Johnny Wilkinson in your midst's and don't realise it?

Girls and boys are welcome to come up to the rugby club (10am on a Sunday morning) and join in with the Tavistock U7s tag rugby. It is a non contact sport at this level and the children thoroughly enjoy running around getting some exercise. The U7s group is open to any children in Year 2 or below. We have a number of matches throughout the year against local teams in the area. It all ends with a U7s and U8s tag rugby festival in April at Ivybridge where all the local teams are invited for a number of games in a group format. The emphasis is to get everyone to join in and have go, making sure they enjoy themselves.
