Tavistock 33 : Crediton 12
Crediton started the game strongly winning most of the set pieces and
took the lead with a try in the corner. Tavistock tackled and defended
well but, despite good breaks from Bernie , Ben and Laurence , were
under pressure and struggled to get close to the Crediton line.
A refreshed Tavistock pack came out in the second half , began to
dominate play and George scored an early try from the base of the scrum
to level the scores.Tavistock continued to win the territory battle
with a sensible kicking game and the forwards provided the backs with
great space and ball to attack the opposition. Jerome, Callum, Will and
Bernie ran in four further Tavistock tries in quick succession before
Crediton came back with a second consolation try at the end.
