Crediton 6 : Tavistock 5
This crunch Landscape League encounter was played on a quagmire of a pitch. Despite the conditions, Crediton made the early running and scored two penalties in the first half without response from Tavy. Despite some good forward play, Tavy could not find a way through Crediton's defence. With a significant slope on the pitch working in Tavy's favour for the second half, the visitors looked very comfortable from the outset, which released David Lunn to run in an early second half try to reduce the deficit to one. Tavy dominated the second half with an excellent hooking display by Ash Toll and a concerted effort by the pack as a whole, with noticeable performances by Nathan Sutton, Harry Birt and Ross Malton at Scrum Half. However, the effort and dominance failed to result in any further score and Tavy disappointingly left Crediton without being able to turn possession into points. Crediton won the match 6-5.
Man of the match for a faultless performance at Full Back was Jez Cramoysan.
